Horn Ruf für Zwei Alpenhornisten by Randall E. Faust (2022) - Ship to Me

This Horn Call for Two Alphornists has been composed for two dear friends from St. Louis, Missouri, Thomas und Tricia Jöstlein, for a performance at the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis. The work is conceived as one to be performed (ideally) in such a spacious venue on Alphorns. Throughout this work the two Hornists call back and forth with imitative and contrapuntal motives. So, an antiphonal staging of the work is encouraged - with as much space between the Hornists as is comfortable and practical.
